Lesson 1: Part 2

For the second part of the lesson, Pete showed us how to lip sync videos. 
There was three clips, from a previous students video, and he showed us how to fit them together. 
First, you have to import the song on to final cut; and mute it
Then import some footage, and listen to the actual footage sound. Put a marker on a specific point, for example in our song, there was an "ooh" which was easy to match up.
Once you find the point on the video/audio track; mute that track and unmute the actual music file, and find that same "ooh" point, and put a marker on that point. 
You can now delete the footage's audio and match up the footage to the music track's marker. 
You might have to zoom in on the timeline to match it up perfectly. 

Continue to do this with all other clips.
